Cookie policy
This page explains which cookies and similar technologies we use on the LAMA Organics website, and how you stay in control of your choices. It complements our privacy policy.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a website. It allows your browser to be recognised from one visit to the next, or a piece of information to be remembered.
The website also uses your browser's local storage (localStorage), a similar technology: the information stays on your device and is not automatically sent to our servers. On this page, the word "cookies" covers both technologies.
Cookie categories
Strictly necessary
These allow the website to work: keeping the contents of your basket and remembering your cookie choice. They are not used to track you or for advertising, and do not require your consent. You can delete them in your browser, but your basket will then be emptied.
Audience measurement
With Google Analytics 4, we produce statistics on how the website is used: pages viewed, journeys, items added to the basket, purchases. This helps us improve the website and our product pages. These cookies are only set with your consent.
Marketing
The Meta Pixel lets us measure how well our adverts on Facebook and Instagram perform, for example whether an advert led to a visit or a purchase. These cookies are only set with your consent.
Nothing is set before you choose
On your first visit, a banner lets you accept or refuse measurement and marketing cookies, category by category. Refusing is as easy as accepting.
We use Google's Consent Mode v2: until you make an explicit choice, consent is treated as refused, no measurement or marketing cookies are set, and Google and Meta tools do not fire. If you refuse, the website works in exactly the same way.
Change your choice at any time
Click the "Manage cookies" link at the bottom of any page to reopen the banner and change your choice. Your new choice applies straight away.
If you withdraw your consent, cookies already set by Google or Meta are no longer used by the website; you can also delete them in your browser settings.

Managing cookies in your browser
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge or others). If you clear the site's data, your basket and your cookie choice will be reset, and the banner will appear again on your next visit.
